Mixing Hot and Cold Water

Hot Water Poured in Cold Water
Mixing Hot and Cold Water
Yes, more water. Water is one of the coolest and most disgusting looking things in the world depending on where it is, and what else is in it. Thinking about it for a second: very cool in a lake or a large body of water, not so cool at the bottom of a septic tank or after it's been used to hose down the roof. Cool in a clean cup, not cool in a dirty cup that has been stained from years of use. With an infrared camera, I have only ever seen the "cool" part -- ignorance is fun?

In this video, two bowls of water, one hot and one cold, are mixed. The only thing visible under normal, visible light would be transparent water moving around in my experience. I believe that temperature variations could be felt to some degree if one sticks a hand in there. See what it looks like with an infrared camera.

Reminder: Temperatures are not accurate.
