Just do what I do and just leave it off in the middle of a heat alert...
That outside temperature reading is in Celsius, by the way. The sensor is at the air conditioning unit sitting in the shade. It felt a lot warmer indoors than 26 C due to the storm moving through the area, so nice high humidity.
