Infrared: Inside of a Refrigerator

Inside a Refrigerator
Looking Inside a Refrigerator
I've been focusing 99% on things that are hot so far with infrared footage. It's a lot easier to find things that produce heat or are warmer than ambient. Honestly, cold things are harder to find. I got this camera in the winter, but opening a window and letting the heat flow right out (or the cold in) is a bit of a sin.

Now that it's summer, and I'm running out of things to shoot, why not finally take a look at the refrigerator and freezer. This is a look inside the fridge. It looked like a black hole when I set the temperature range to focus on room temperature objects. Had to mess around with it to get the image to show more details. That was kind of creepy to open a door and have a black hole looking back at me. Sorry about the angle, there wasn't much room to position the camera at a better angle or location. And the camera itself came with a fixed focal length lens that had a pretty narrow field of view to begin with.

Reminder: Temperatures are not accurate.
