Finger Painting on a Carpet

Body Heat Transfer to a Carpet
Finger Painting on a Carpet
This never seems to get old. Body heat transfer is very interesting with an infrared camera. And it's very easy to find or produce for some reason. First part of the video is just a hand being run across a carpet. The temperature range for this part is relatively wide.

Second part is with simple body heat transfer with the temperature range on the camera set very tight. This means that slight changes in temperature are a lot more pronounced in the image. Check out the light touches that show up white hot. The second part is much more interesting in my opinion. Surprising what a hand and a carpet can do with help from a really expensive device? If you're curious, that carpet was a synthetic fiber carpet. Also, different color palettes were used for the footage for the first and second parts of the video. First was grey, second was a more colorful one.

Reminder: Temperatures are not accurate.
