Cooking with a Microwave Oven

Microwaving Food
Microwave Cooking
And this about rounds out my cooking skills: microwaving things. I can boil water and make scrambled eggs too. Probably should learn to cook a wider variety of items, but why do that when I have access to easy to prepare, pre-packaged, and processed foods? I'll get to it at some point. Hope they don't come out with replicators any time soon because that will really take away my motivation.

Anyway, this is footage of some food on a plate being thrown into a microwave and appearing a lot whiter after 20 seconds or so when it's taken out. Nothing to it. Almost seems like a magic box? The rear of the microwave isn't visible, so any heat exhausted out the back can't be seen -- that would have been more interesting. Should have gotten a close-up shot of the food or played around with the temperature range a bit.

Reminder: Temperatures are not accurate.
